Introduction
East Barnet School has a rich history dating back to 1937 and has been judged ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED twice.
In 2011, the school unveiled a state-of-the-art building, designed in consultation with staff and students to reflect the school’s philosophy.
The new facility aims to provide an environment that nurtures the talents, abilities and aspirations of both students and teachers.
Solution
To complement the modern architecture and advanced facilities of the new building, we were tasked with installing window treatments that would enhance the learning environment.
We installed roller blinds in classrooms, labs and studios to provide adjustable light control, aiding in focus and concentration.
Additionally, blackout blinds were installed in specific areas requiring zero light penetration, to ensure optimal conditions for specialised activities.
