Introduction
This transformative project was part of a £166 million regeneration mega project aimed at revamping the former Green Man Lane Estate. Spearheaded by FABRICA and Rydon and meticulously designed by the award-winning Conran and Partners, the development spans over 5 hectares and will provide 770 high-quality new homes.
The project includes 90 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, houses and maisonettes, each featuring open-plan living spaces that lead out to a terrace or balcony.
The interiors are designed with a palette of pale oak and neutral contrasting textures and tones, creating a timeless and relaxing space. The challenge was to maintain a consistent external appearance while providing a cost-effective solution for window treatments.
Solution
To meet the aesthetic and functional requirements of the development, we installed voile curtains and nets to every window in the apartments.
The installation was carried out in a series of phases to align with the main contractor’s program.
The voile curtains and nets not only complemented the meticulously designed interiors but also provided the residents with the privacy they needed.
The end result was a harmonious blend of design and functionality, perfectly aligning with the vision of creating high-quality, affordable living spaces.
