Wire-Guided Rooflight System

Our wire-guided roller blinds are designed to shade smaller rooflights and skylights up to 4m2.  This versatile system can also be used to make bottom-up roller blinds, including shaped blinds to suit gable-end or sloping-head windows.

They can be used with a wide range of shading and blackout fabrics.  There are no side channels, so light will get around the sides of the blind.

Motorised operation makes operating these blinds easy, even when installed in difficult-to-reach locations.

This system can be powered using 240V, 24V or battery motors.  Hardwired or wireless controls can be stand-alone or fully integrated with home automation or building management systems (BMS).

Intelligent digital motors are IP addressable and can be integrated with many control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron, etc; and with protocols such as KNX, LON, BACNet, Modbus, Z-Wave, etc.

This roller blind system has powerful constant-tension spring (CTS) units to create a blind that can operate at any angle between vertical and horizontal, and can draw upwards, downwards or sideways.

The 3mm steel side guidewires support and guide the hembar.  The fabric itself is unsupported but tensioned via the CTS units. 100mm deep L-shaped fascia sections at each end of the blind provide easy installation and a neat appearance.

The Wire-Guided Rooflight System provides:

  • Tensioned rooflight blind system
  • 5 year warranty
